LED fog lights? 2017 X1 xdrive

Hello all. New here couldn't find an intro page. So here I am. I recently purchased a 2017 X1 and would like to replace the halogen fog lights with LEDs. I'm told you have to "tell" the car you made that change.

I have a paid version of Carly but I'm not sure it has that ability as I'm not completely familiar with it yet.

Is anyone able to steer me in the right direction?

just a note..

LED into foglights are just for aestethic, do not expect increased visibility during foggy days (the lower K° they are, the better can penetrate the fog)

Actually that’s not 100% correct, they do not penetrate more but is perceived as such They glare / reflect less back at the driver effectively the lower the K the less light of the spectrum is in the light as white light is all visible light of the spectrum, whereas yellow is only a narrow band of the spectrum.

You have to code off the warm and cold checks to disable
The flickering.
