Minimum vs. Recommended. If you want to put a 225 tire, you certainly don't need an 8.5" wheel, so he could have saved a couple of bucks.
In my head, Tire Rack should have said something like this: Minimum: 225 Recommended: 235 or 245 Maximum: 255 But anyway, I'm just sharing my thoughts.

One final comment, keep in mind that wider tires and bigger wheels will negatively impact the acceleration. That was one of the downsides with mine, even considering I have an ECU tune (270hp+). Don't get me wrong, the good things overpass the bad things. But it's something to consider.

Looking good!
But it definitely needs lowering springs =). Did you buy the Bilstein B12 combo?

How did you put these on? AFAIK 611m is only released as 5x120 bolt pattern and our F48 have 5x112

I had a question, I wanted to paint the ferric grey part of my 566 style wheels (black in color) to make them stand out more easily but Im not sure what kind of paint can I use. Something that is not a spray-can as I only want to highlight/cover the ferric grey parts not the entire wheel (check attachment - photoshopped for end state look) Can the likes of Rustoleum outdoor paint help? do I need to sand, primer, paint and apply clear coat again? I wanted something like a quick fix not an elaborate process |

I will avoid pressure washing. How long would it last? Also since I want the plastidip to cover only the ferric grey portions whats the best way to do that? Assuming plastic dip comes in spray mode only. It's going to be very difficult to mask all the diamond cut / shining silver piece only

PlastiDip comes in a spray. Masking tape plus some paper will be good enough. You can find instructions on how to apply it on YouTube. You will need to make several passes until it covers completely. If you want it to be glossy, you then have to apply a PlastiDip clear coat.
