BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
USD 650.00

Location:
✓ Will Ship

Item Interest
Selling my BMW PE. It is only 4 months old, sounds awesome and is in new condition. It does not include the y-pipe, which does nothing anyway. It is coming off my 2011 135. Prefer local pickup in South Florida, but will consider shipping at owners expense. If I had a choice I would not sell this, but need the $$$ so time to start de-modding Asking $650 + shipping.

If you cut open the resonator, you will see that it is a ypipe with fiber stuffed inside a metal housing. It all had to do with how they certified the first gen exhaust. The purpose was to eliminate drone.

New exhaust has free shipping too which is worth noting.

Doesn't surprise me that you paid that much, that's the going rate. Contact Reeves BMW on this board and he will tell you $860 shipped.
Additionally there are plenty of posts on this forum that give completely different views on the PE exhaust with and without the y-pipe you claim does nothing.

Not on a 135i. You are thinking of a 1M exhaust(mid resonator). See my N55 mid pipe DIY...

http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=797160

The deletion of the (135i's) mid pipe resonator really adds more volume and popping sounds to the PE.

pics uploaded, sorry they are not great pics. I will take the exhaust off as soon as it sells. I love the way it sounds. It would be a pity for it to sit in my garage.
