How will these work if the e82 doesn't have iDrive? Are there additional parts needed to make these sensors work?

You don't need idrive for it to work. Without idrive it'll rely on sounds (giving you that beeping noise). Other parts that you might need to make it work are similar to these http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=577851
