Pothole round 2!
In March a pothole bent my front right rim. The roads came back to finish off the job on my left front.

Ouch. Yea the roads are awful where I'm at too. I'll drive all the way in the opposite lane in order to avoid some potholes (when it's safe to do so of course)

Potholes are the worst! Our Chicago roads are terrible so I have to make sure I drive in the exact same lanes for my commute to and from work

I knwo those feels, hit a pothole going all the way across two lanes with the sun in my face. You know, that perfect sun angle where the visor won't save you and sunglasses only minimize the glare.. Popped my front driver side tire. Heard that horrible hiss and pulled over. Thankfully it was only the tire and not the rim but it bubbled up hard.

Yeah the roads are terrible here too. Only good thing I can say about potholes is it is kind of fun swerving and dodging and you won't get in trouble for driving like that... you have to! Not so much fun dodging them with the work truck though, but it can run through a lot of them without too much worry.
Keeping the winter rims/tires on for a little while longer. We actually got a bit of slushy snow yesterday so still not too later for the winter tires here. |

They are ridiculous! I lost a tire and a rim then 13 days later I lost the replaced tire! I can only drive in the lanes that trucks are not allowed otherwise its like a minefield!

Yikes. You should see if your city will cover the costs to replace and repair your wheels and tires.
