Walk me through selecting wheels tires the look similar to 1M for 1 series

Please walk me through selecting wheels tires for 1 series. I've order a winter setup before from TireRack but this time its different. I want either VMR V710 or Enkie Raijin wheels in 18s and a good summer/all season (just for summer and cooler fall). First off does anybody have an preference on the wheel manufactures I selected? The nice thing about the Enkie is that Tire rack carries them so i can get everything together and balanced. I also have 12.5mm spacers but not sure how offset works on these wheels, please also explain. I basically want what looks like a 1M setup but the same size tire/wheels on all 4 corners so they can be rotated.

I want a 1M looking wheel setup
- explain wheel offset so i can get a nice wide tire (1M size without rubbing)
- I want wider wheels then OEM on all 4 corners
- Enkie Raijin or VMR V710 (I want more of a concave look, these appear slightly convex)
- I have 12.5 mm spacers, will that be overkill with these wheels?

many thanks!

My recommendation:

Apex EC-7

Get 4x front wheels (8.5et45) and run 245-35-18s all around to be safe, dunno if you could fit a 40 ratio under there or not.

Throw the spacers in a box, you won't want or need them.
You cant get huge tires under these wheel arches, nor do you really need them with the 128i power output, 245 width is more than adequate, should be plenty of fun. Also worth noting, the 1M uses staggered wheels and tires, which you can not rotate, so aiming for those sizes is the opposite of what you want to do for every reason.

Hoping one of the fitment pros hops in here for you.

My vote is the Apex EC-7 wheels as well. They are rotary forged and very light weight and strong. There is no wheel out there though that looks like the 1M wheel that will fit a non M 1 series.

You can run the 18x8.5 all around. Spacers would not be needed.

We can set you up with wheels, tires, tpms and mount and balance everything for you before it ships out. If you have anymore questions or would like a quote on an Apex wheel and tire package shoot me a PM

Our wheels are definitely not convex! Check out the rears!

They do have slightly curvier spokes compared to some other manufacturers though. This helps improve brake clearance.
