New Wheels

I've just received a set of VMR V710 wheels and have noticed that only the front wheels have balancing weights. The wheels were previously used for nominal mileage on a demo car so it would seem that they never installed weights on the rear wheels.

Is that normal?

It's rare, but it is possible to get a tire/wheel install where no weights are required.

I had a couple of my wheels balance with no weights.

Like mentioned above, it is possible for them to balance out, especially if they were Road Force Balanced.

Like said above, if you use road force balancing then it is possible.
