Anyone have good luck powder coating APEX wheels?
I've read Internet horror stories of wheels being weakened by powdercoating. Anyone have feedback from powdercoating APEX wheels.
Just wondering,as I am getting a color I don't want in the group buy since Hyperblack is unobtanium. |

Not to worry! I have powdercoating a couple sets with no issues. I even have a set at the powdercoater right now. Email me at forums@nitrousgarage.com and I can email you a picture of them when I get them back. Should be by tomorrow sometime.

If your rims haven't shipped yet I would pm David from apex. They had hyper silver in stock for the rear but the fronts in et45 were out of stock when I was trying to order from there website for the group buy. I sent David a pm and asked if I could wait till more came in stock and he said absolutely.

I hope so, I just think they put black rims on everything these days so I was looking forward to hyperblack.
On the other hand, I think the space grey brakes matching the cars paint that will be easy to see thru the black ARC-8's will look good. |
