Tire Warranty
So I hit a pothole a few weeks back and cracked the rim and obviously blew out the tire. I did not know Geico covered these things after the deductible is met. I bought a refurbished rim off ebay and had BMW mount one of their tires on the rim and give the car an alignment.
I hit another pothole today and blew out that new tire! Do they give you road hazard warranty on tires that they sell you? |

you should definitely give it a shot since such little time has passed by, however I would doubt if they automatically come with road hazard warranty unless you specifically requested it. |

Yeah I know when you buy tires at Tire Rack or our local chain Town Fair Tire you have to pay for road hazard at time of purchase otherwise you're SOL.

Lots of misinformation here.
Several tire manufacturers include warranty for 1 year, including road hazard protection free of charge. I bought a set of Continental DWS from tire rack few months ago. With invoice you get a copy of Continental road hazard protection booklet. Key word here is "Continental", since they cover the tire. I had a blowout few weeks ago, called Tire Rack to order a new tire, in process they arranged for UPS to pick up the old tire from me ($10 charge). Once they verified that tire has minimal-required thread left (as described in booklet) credit was issued for the cost of the new tire minus the shipping charges. Short story, reputable tire manufacturers cover their tires for 1 year without surcharge. |

Some tire brands offer limited road hazard coverage.
I actually looked up that info for a customer earlier today.
