What you love most about your Z4?
Since we already had a hate thread...
Now that cooler weather has arrived here Florida, I am reminded of one of things I love about the Z4 Roadster... IT'S A CONVERTIBLE!!!! 67 degrees today, deep blue sky and sunshine, winters in Florida are PERFECT FOR THIS CAR!!!

Love the handling, looks, wheels, engine, lights, seats, acceleration, the convertible feel, radio, gearbox, color, heated seats, sport option...it's just a great car! Love the BMW brand as well and their philosophy behind their cars.

I've only had mine a week, but I bought it because I love the way the car connects you to the road. You don't drive it so much as you wear it. I'm looking forward to finishing the break-in so I can enjoy the 5th-to-3rd punch that BlackSapphireZ loves... :-)

i really like the controversial THX audio system.. idono, i guess maybe because its just better than any stock stereo i've ever owned.
the rarity of the car. the ability to break necks. the sensation of driving with the top down on a mild warm breezy day.

I honestly think my car has caused an accident. No kidding it happened about a year ago. I saw this guy rubbernecking at the Z4—and a second later—BAM!!!—he rear-ended another car.

I made this list at about 6 months...
Love 1. The cornering - the Z4 takes corners like a razor. 2. The sound generator - best free mod ever; go foamless & topless! 3. The nice big trunk - excellent for a car this small 4. Fantastic 3rd gear power band/acceleration w/sport button. 5. Gorgeous exterior - still look back at the car after parking. 6. Brilliant light of the Xenons within their short range 7. The looks the car gets. 8. Honest comments like "nice car," and "that's a beautiful car." 9. Great fuel mileage - compared to my S.U.V. with V-8. 10. Sound of the exhaust when down shifting. 11. SMG - fun and flexible shifting

I like all my ///M logos, and that it doesn't say Z4 anywhere on it.

Leaving it in gear well pass 5500 RPM as I cruise surface streets – watching everyone else looking and wondering – doesn’t that guy know how to shift.
They have no idea... |

Driving around parking lots (motor still warm) 1st gear to 4k shift into 2nd, and engine brake to hear the back fire.

I've been eyeing them on ebay. Maybe after winter.
Getting back on topic, I love my car combined with Reinhold roof module. Closes roof and windows as I walk away. Also the view from front 3/4 gives me chills. |
