Another M3 driver

It seems like Clarkson was right after all! Both BMW and Audi are driven by cocks you would never invite for dinner

what the hell was the guy in the first video thinking....quattro can power through ICE?! lol
maybe if he stepped on the gas instead of braking and holding on for life it might have been a different outcome

Audi driver: At what point did he lose it? Seems like he over did it from the start.

M3 driver 1: I don't think that guy realizes how close he was to dying/seriously hurt

M3 driver 2: Save it for the track

E46 m3, driver 2, survived that fall and walked away with a few scratches.
There was a thread about it somewhere a while ago.
He was HPDE advanced driver but didnt know that road, took an early apex without slowing down, ran out of the road at the exit and you saw what happened. If you look at the car he was chasing, that driver was familiar with that area and you can see him braking hard before taking late apex

That's why I never push it on the street! Hell, the car rarely sees over 5k RPMs on the street and there's no "canyons" in the Midwest, but on the track, I never let it below 7K! I do love driving it in the snow though

I would think that most advanced HPDE folks would be smart enough and self aware enough to not push the car this hard if they weren't familiar with the road. My experience is that very senior track guys are some of the safest on the road because they know their limit and their car's limit... this guy didn't seem to know either. What a lucky man!

It's crazy how the air bags know to go off in some of those videos.
