Geico Mechanical Breakdown Insurance (MBI)
So I'm guilty of just cutting a check every 6 months not realizing what my Geico full coverage entailed. Apparently I'm paying $100/yr for Mechanical Breakdown Insurance, which is basically extended warranty. They cover any repair outside of wear/tear upto 7yrs or 100k. As long as the repair is first authorized, you can get it repaired at any facility of your choice (dealer or indy) and pay a $250 deducitble. The rest is covered by the insurance company.
I though this might be useful for the few owners who've experienced major engine issues. The only catch is you had to have this feature on your policy within the first 15 months of ownership of the new vehicle.
