I am moving on to a 2012 535i M Sport. As for the 2002 M3, I am the second owner. I purchased this car in 2006 from another BMW CCA member in NC. I do most of the maintenance on my fleet unless I either do not have the proper tools or the skills to perform the job. I have replaced the following: 1. Rear C-Pillars (peeling fabric) 2. Left side B-Pillar (broken interior clips) 3. Driver's side arm rest (due to cracked finish) 4. M3 style floor mats 5. Powerflex RTABs at 26,000 miles (performed by local BMW mechanic). 5. Driver and passenger side door seals (due to sagging trim - common on many models) 6. All pulleys, tensioners and belts (due to squeal and belts needed replacing) - May 2012 7. Brake fluid and coolant flush - April 2012 at 41,700 miles 8. Tranny fluid at 48,000 miles - Feb 2013 9. Oil and filter at 47,000 miles (changed out every 7,000 miles) 10. Bosch Icon wiperblades - Jan 2012 11. Rear view mirror (due to fluid bubble - common on many models) 12. Vanos filter and o-rings (part# 11361401971) 13. Fuel filter - June 2012 at 40,000 miles 14. Battery - is about 2 years old (Duralast 94R-DLG purchased from AutoZone) KW2 coilovers: 1. For the front coilovers, I changed out upper spring pocket w/axial cage bearing (part 31331090612) while I had the suspension apart. I also inserted the strut tower reinforcement plates sold from Turner Motorsports (http://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-32...ates-pair.aspx) 2. For the rear coilovers, I changed out the rear shock mounts to the Rogue Engineering design. 3. Ride height is set at 13.5" front and 13.25" rear. The rear springs are set at1/4 inch from recommended (13 inch) to reduce camber for more uniform tire wear. Front coilovers are set at max positive camber also for more uniform tire wear. Miscellaneous: 1. Bearing recall was performed in June 2005 by Flow BMW at 14,600 miles 2. SMG reprogrammed by BMW per SIB 121106 - October 2006 3. Subframe inspection performed by BMW - June 2010 4. Of course, air filter and cabin filters have been changed several times. 5. I have the owner's manual, 2 keys and window sticker 6. I will include the OEM muffler in case you think the Eisenmann is too loud but personally I think it's one of the best sounding exhausts on this car 7. I do not have the OEM wheels that came with the car. 8. Windshield (front and rear) seals and rear side-window seals show absolutely no sign of cracking or degradation. 9. Hardwired for Valentine 1 Regarding quality of paint, etc., I have several members of the M3 Forum that have seen this car at Charlotte Cars and Coffee on a routine basis and can attest to its extremely clean condition both inside and out. If you'd like some references just let me know. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at 704-905-4502 or by e-mail at rgc4606@hotmail.com Regards, Bob

I tried to fix the asking price but for some reason it will not update. Asking price again is $24,499. Also dual pins strips are vinyl and could be removed but I don't know why anyone would want to because it really sets this car apart from others.
