Stick with 220m or m359s?

What are your opinions?

Of course everyone has their own opinions and I will share mine. When I was getting ready to order my 2011 M3, my original intention was to order just the 18s on the car as I found the 220s absolutely hideous and was going to go aftermarket. Then the ZCP package was introduced and saw the wheels on the car and just absolutely fell in love with the wheel. It was the exact same size as the RAC RG4s I had on my E46 M3 and just loved the styling. I ordered the ZCP package on my 2011 M3.

To this day I still feel its the best looking wheel available on the M3, even aftermarket. Would I like an extra .5" both front and rear to 19X9.5 and 19X10.5? Yes, or course but it to me is still the best looking wheel and fits the E9X M3 the best. Here she is after she got her new shoes on her...Continental Contisport 5P in the GTS sizes.

Just my .02..

Dave

I'm of same thought! I like the M359's, but I have the 220M's. I powder-coated the 220M's black, and so I will mostly likely stick with them. I also have a set of Arc-8's in black for the track. On the plus side the 220M's are lighter, stronger and forged!

I wouldn't get rid of the 220's for the 359's. If anything keep them both...but IMO if you're going to get a new set of wheels go with something other than the CSL/stock look & don't ever part the 220's.

After looking at numerous comparisons of them both, I've actually come to the conclusion of why I wasn't feeling 100% about the 359's. The 220's look amazing from all angles; however, the 359s, although they look better than the 220's at a close to 45 degree angle POV and close up, look a bit lacking from far away or from a direct frontal view.

The 359's are more aggressive looking but I favor the 220M. I tried the
359's but went back to the 220's.

I have both wheels, and I'm sticking with the M359 wheels. The 359's do look much more aggressive on the car. The 220's make the car look classy though.

220’s (but I think ideally they look best with spacers... I’m hoping to try 15mm/12mm soon!)
