Just got a quote on spring installation...

$828 including an alignment from an indie. Ouch! Guess I'll be getting dirty. That was for springs only and no dampers. Can only imagine what that would run on the Roady.

That much more reasonable. Have no idea what they were thinking. I can only guess something was lost in translation. He knew it was just springs and I had the parts, so don't know. It's an indie I've used before and got good value from. Who knows...

Rears are quick and easy, fronts are more involved but a number of us have done it ourselves.

Excellent. I did some pre-work studying on it and it doesn't look bad at all. I did springs on all four corners on a 2001 Prelude and outside of taking a while, it's not a big deal. Just stay focused and make sure everything is secured properly.

I plan to check out a spring compressor from Autozone.

oops..I ment $40 for the spring compressor tool....I did this myself..

When I did some research on prices I got estimates of $350-400

The rear sits nice, I would like to get another 1/2" drop outa the front..but I live in Jersey and the roads are rough..it is what it is..

$350-400 seems pretty reasonable if you don't have the tools or time, but still a motivator to DIY. Yours sits great. I am going to do some before and after shots before I change the springs.

Something to keep in mind as one of your first steps is to disconnect the headlight leveler linkage which IIRC is found on the passenger side (US cars) front and rear A arms. If you drop the arms with the linkage attached, they may be damaged. Good luck.
