Possible suspension upgrades 3.0si
Ok, gentleman
I have a 2006 3.0si withs stock dampers and m-sport springs (-15mm all around) And I feel a need of upgrading it a bit The car rolls like hell in fast corners, the front end goes sky-high while accelerating, and steering precision is quite poor. My point is: - shall I go for bilstein b6/b8 and leave m-sport springs? but they tend to crack - in that case I will be probaby buyinjg eibach spriongs (-35mm), bu I think theyre a bit too low for my driving (a lot of b roads driving, and quite bumpy roads in my city) - or maybe I should buy one of them cheap coilovers? been thinking about megan racing, bc racing and d2 racing I read some quite bad opinions on megan racing, and also some good opinions - the same with d2 Never thought of bc racing - but heard some good rumours about it here on forum Megans have sick spring rates for a daily drive (8kg/mm fronts and 11kg/mm rears), where bc's are 8 and 9kg/mm AFAIK The car is driven on the daily basis (including snowy winters), about 1500km a month, plus it goes for a few trackdays in the summer - lets say 3-5. Ok, ppl, opinion please PS. I know KW v3 would be best but it costs 3x more than the cheaper coils.. |

Different shocks will not reduce bodyroll or the nose rising while accelerating.
I had a set of eibach pro springs on my car (-3cm) which are a bit stiffer and that was a huge reduction of body roll and the nose rising on acceleration. Unfortionately too low for practical use and all the speedbumps around here. You can also reduce body roll with stiffer stabilizers (that's what I'm planning), but that won't reduce the nose from rising I'd love to see a review of a set D2/BC coilover set for the Z4. I'm still considering a set of KW V2. Still adjustable, stainless steel (that's a big plus if you drive in the winter) but less expensive than the V3 |

In just a pure coincidence I've managed to buy a lightly used set of KW v2 inox's with about 8000miles on them
So the deccision is made, now I'm waiting for the delivery Probably will be fitting them after winter. Doeas any of you use KW v2's? ANyu thoughts about setting them for daily driving? |
