It'll look a lot better if it's in black or red.

I just don't like the looks of the new hardtop. Soft top could save some luggage space and also make the car lighter. However clearly it will come with a hard top..

And also in a year the soft cover would look like shit. The hard top was a great idea.

I have an soft top in my Audi which is now nearly 5 years old and it still looks as new. I do not know if the quality of BMW soft tops are worse, which probably is the case.

BMW's hard top does not look to me, but it is just my opinion.

My M3's soft top looked great. It was black and just had to wipe with soap and water once or twice a year.

I love the hardtop too... but not for this reason simply because this statement isn't true. I owned a '96 Z3 for 9 years and my soft top looked new when I sold the car a couple years ago. If you take proper care a soft top will last quite a long time.

BTW, the M3 convertible looks hot! Love the hood and dual exhaust. Very nice.

Well ok, I guess its more than just one year, but I've seen plenty of BMW convertibles that made my choice of picking a hardtop over softtop so much easier.

The E93 M3 is awesome although its gonna get people in the wallet

That reminds me that I used to have a Z3 too.. No problem with the soft top at all.
