Post it on eBay. Trades rarely ever happen and especially not for such a different car.

wouldnt it be cheaper to retrofit an aftermarket nav system??
seems like a rather futile reason to sell the car, or at least one that could easily be fixed... either way, good luck |

Looking to trade cars because of the navigation? You'll pay $3000 to $4000 in sales taxes alone on a trade for a 2010 - 2012 M3. What kind of logic is that?

I was figuring on KY sales tax rate of 6%, which is pretty conservative. Not sure what IL is, but I'm assuming its no less than KY's. At any rate, seems a little extreme just for a nav unit, but good luck with it.

That's not possible in KY. Are you certain that's possible in IL? Sounds wrong to me. States usually have a way of getting their no matter the situation. I know because I've been thru similar scenarios before and owed the state.
