Couple pics from Pocono with my square 275 Conti slicks

I was at Pocono the past weekend with my car running my new 275/35/18 square Continental slicks. I gotta say my favorite mod currently is my Recaro's but these tires are the second best thing I have ever done to my car. I was able to average 125-130 mph in turns 1 and 2 (banked turns) and due to the corner exit speed I was seeing 160-165 mph on the end of the straights on the speedo. I also must point out that my APR splitter never one came loose at those speeds and I am not running the struts. I snapped a couple iPhone pics while i was waiting for my bud to show up with my street tires. I was able to lap most 90% of the instructor group on the last session on sunday but then a 997 turbo blew a Pirelli slick in the banking on turn 1 almost put it into the wall and they red flagged the session. Never going back to R888s again. I was lucky that a racer who raced with TPC racing was there and he helped develop these tires and was giving me setup tips. You only have to run these tires at 29-31psi hot!

Get the new PFC 08 pads too. I was convinced by the boys down at bimmerworld to give these a whirl and they blow the 06 compound out of the water!

PS... you better lock those brakes away or else i am going to five finger sale those beauties next week.

That was on the speedo so I am not sure what that works out to in actual speed.

I put them on the car and stared at them for over an hour. It makes the car look sooo racey! The wheel especially fit the M Coupe so well. I think i might ditch my ZCPs and buy another set.

Specs on the rims and tires (color, offset, spacers, camber amount)? You mentioned square... how do you fit 275s in the front?

I wish I was you. Haha
Sounds like a blast!

I'm actually ordering a set of those wheels (9.5 255 front and 10 275 rear) when they come back in stock at the end of the month.

I believe he's running 18x9.5 et35 275/35/18, -2.5 camber, probably 10+mm spacer in front and 18x10 et25 275/35/18 rear.
I think the color is anthracite as well.
