WTT: VW R32 for 135 or 335

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
As the title says, I'd like to trade my 2008 VW R32 for a 135 or 335. Ideally, I'd like it to be MT and around 40k-60k miles. As for my VW, it has around 51k miles on it and I was the only owner of it. It has an AT 6 spd DSG transmission (the MKV R32's only come with DSG). The car was serviced at the dealership 99% of the time and I have almost all the service receipts. The car has a 100k power train warranty and all the payments have been paid off. I just replaced the front & rear rotors and brake pads. The interior is in great shape and the exterior is in mint condition. I am willing to trade the car with the OEM wheels and my aftermarket ones as well.

Mods:
  • Koni struts & shocks
  • Neuspeed springs
  • 18" O.Z. Ultraleggera's w/ stock Dunlop Sport A/S's
  • Eurojet cat-back exhaust
  • 10" Alpine type-R sub powered with a Kenwood amp
  • Ziza side marker, city, & license plate lights
  • Hole-less grill
  • 10% Rear tint and 35% Front tint
  • Smoked Lamin-X Tail Light tint
  • Hardwired V1
  • Faux blue suede interior trim

A Few Stock Pics:

Installed yellow H7's:

All Clean:

Feel free to post possible trades. I am new to e90 post so I am unable to PM for now. I will be posting more recent photo's soon!

Depends on the trade, either party may need to throw up some cash as well. PM me if you're interested.

No offense but don't think anyone in a BMW would step down to a VW. You're best off selling your car then buying whatever you want.

Thanks for your advice but I've had several PM's already. A mkv R32 isn't that big of a step down, you should re-evaluate your statement.

Not trying to talk down to a R32 owner because they are quite cool and quick..for what they are. Try the Audi forum.

Good luck! The R32 is a great car. You might need to throw in some cash but I think you'll find what your looking for. You'll definitely love the 135 when you get it.

You'll love the 135! I also had a MK5 R32 before and loved it too. Some day I even miss my R32.

I don't think anyone is going to even consider trading a BMW for a VW. Let alone add cash

Not dogging this guy. Just being realistic. It's a nice car. But he should just sell it then buy a 1.

I would think more so for the 135i.....but either or i wouldn't trade neither and i've had both.......Not knocking just don't really like egg shape cars. and it most likely is a 4cyl turbo, (never really into vw's so don't know sorry if I'm wrong.) No thanks i'll keep my torque.....

Yeah, I mean if no one wants to trade the market will tell them. No need to put anyone down.

OP: I wish those came in manuals. Those V6's sound sweet!

I sold my MkIV R32 before buying my 135i. I have to say, after several months, I regret it.

That VR6 is a great sounding motor! That DSG is a pretty quick transmission also!

GLWS and hope to see you join the BMW community soon

If the mkv R32 came in MT and a turbo I would definitely keep it. I look forward to joining the BMW community, hopefully I get that job offer so I can use that bonus!
