1200 mile service done at 2000 miles

Hello all. looking to pick up an 07 z4m coupe. It has 25k miles and seems pretty clean. I pulled the service history and see that the initial 1200 mile service was done at 2000miles. Any reason to be concerned about that? Should I stay away?

Thanks in advance.

I think 2000 is pushing the envelope on the 1200 mile window, but if all else checks out(from an independent inspection), you should be okay. My BMW dealer and my independents all said that as long as it wasn't past 2k I would be good with all of the ones I was looking at from private sellers and on autotrader and cars.com.

Just my two cents and I wish you good luck with your hunt!

WHS +1. I would not worry about it if it is only a few hundred miles over. Make sure you get a PPI from an independent shop.

Seems a little high but like Z4MLover said, if everything else checks out, it's probably fine.

I'd weight it with other factors. I wouldn't knock it out of the running on this alone. As others have said, under 2k isn't ideal, but it's also not a showstopper. While it's not ideal it's not the same as a skipped 1,200 mile service or one that's several thousand miles late.

What does the rest of the maintenance (mechanical, cosmetic) look like, and what does the PPI show? On the other side of the coin there's a perfect hit on the 1,200, but other service intervals missed, or signs of abuse (mechanical, or poor interior or exterior condition).
