Vinyl wraps
I've been considering getting my car wrapped in either matte black or carbon fiber vinyl. I got a quote from a company close to me and it was $3,195 for a full body matte black vinyl wrap...
Is that typical or what? I had assumed it would cost a lot less than that. Just to add a picture to the thread for attention: Last edited by sistom; 02-24-2012 at 08:30 AM.. |

Typical is 2k+ depending on quality. A full car wrap ain't cheap.

I was quoted €2,300 here in Germany by a place that does quality work.

I was quoted $2000 at a usual shop and I actually thought THAT was pricey lol
Their work is very detailed and go through the whole process of removing all the body panels to have them done individually. I've actually seen shops that just blop the whole sheet on the car and start cutting unequally stretching each piece resulting in bubbling in the long run. |

have them quote you for labor and material separate - enough 3M to wrap your car can be purcahsed online for ~$700ish. buy it online and just pay labor
