possible to remain stock comfort with KW V3?

Hey folks,

I am kind of sick of stock height. I wanna do the KW V3. I heard they can be adjusted like stock and much lower. I have stock 18" and no EDC. If I upgrade to 19/20" will I rub if I lower too much with 275 tire? Anyone?

Thanks!

275 is not very wide(for the rears) and will likely not rub, but this will largely depend on the wheel offset you decide to run. I think there is a rub/no-rub sticky out there with different setups.

Since you mentioned you were tired of the ride height and not necessarily trying to improve the handling - you may want to consider just going with lowering springs or a sleeve-over kit if you want the adjustability. There are no shortage of options out there.

My M3 is in Taiwan. Road surface there are a real big mess. I used short springs on my cayman before and it was a nightmare. I have used V3 on my old MK5 R32 and it was brilliant.

Yeah bad roads stink. Report back on your thoughts on the KW V3 if you end up going that route.

Here's the rub/no-rub link: http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=522139

On the front, 275 is border line. On the rear, 275 is more than fine. BUT, this is assuming that you have wheels with the correct offset and widths. If you have the proper sizes, as long as you stay within KW's recommended range of height adjustment, you will be fine.

The lower you go the harsher the ride..just keep the drop moderate.
