header o2s

so im thinking of pulling the trigger on some "M3ANM3" headers from a fellow M member. My question, is if i decide to relocate to the rear o2s, is it going to cause a problem to just plug the unused o2 hole with a bolt? or do i need to grind it down and weld it over?

P.s. these are the type of headers that the M3 guys use in which their are two o2 locations on each header.

thanks for the help guys!

Just make sure the bolt you use to plug the hole doesn't protrude into the header, and restrict airflow and you'll be fine

thanks for the info, i figure the air would fill such a small gap in any event and negate any negative effect anyhow, i needed some reassurance though!

it looks like soon i shall have some headers installed and potentially some relocated cats or a tune.

anybody have any experience with headers and the AA tune to turn down the o2s?
