You don't need it. I have one, and I deal with it because I actually need it. Putting one into a car that doesn't need it would be dumb.

You didn't ask anything about differences you asked about experience and and benefit. The answer is YOU wont benefit, and my EXPERIENCE tells me you will regret it since you will get nothing from it but downsides.

There's a difference between buying something you want but don't need, and buying something that you wont want once you have it.

It's a 100% locking differential, it will bind and chatter under some circumstances, sometimes very violently.
