E9x M3 Jack Pad/Cup Part Number

I lost one of these at the track so I picked up a couple spares this evening. If anyone else is looking for these the part number is 5171 7 164 761 and I got them for $14 each at my local dealer (list price was over 20).

Despite the fact that those jack pads fall off constantly, they are still extremely handy to have. Thanks for posting the part number!

You can pop them out with a flat blade screw driver by prying on the narrow ends. At least that's how I did it - Someone else may have a better idea .

The new ones just press in and click into place, super simple.

They wear out.

They're held in exactly like how the plastic expanding rivets are on our cars.

...and if you're into questionably useful gadgets, check out the jack-pad adapters from reverselogic that fit into the rubber pads for jacking. They're actually very handy and allow you to be centered on the jack pad every time without having to stick your head on the pavement to check. I use mine all the time.
