z4 2.5i Sport - UK - IPOD
Hi Guys,
Just ordered a 2.5i Sport in the UK, I understand there is a line input but i would like to use my steering wheel controls with my ipod. Whats my best option? Bmw or Aftermarket? Cheers, Nick |

I will be installing my Dension IceLink plus this weekend from my old E46 so can let you now how that goes. I am not expecting many problems as the radio is basically the same but with a different wiring harness. The Dension unit is reported to be better than the OEM BMW unit, and no doubt cheaper. Cost for Dension in UK around £120 www.dabs.com |

Theres a rumor of a specialized IPOD kit coming out for the other BMW series cars ( I mean an actually useful ipod kit, not the first gen nonsense given to us by BMW/Apple), I wonder if it will hit the Z4 also

The option you refer to is 6FL USB/audio Interface which is £205 in the UK This works with USB memory sticks, and had a true iPOD interface as well. A must if buying from new I would say. But dont think this is available for Z4 I am planning to install my Dension unit this weekend Last edited by srhutch; 05-17-2007 at 03:38 PM.. |
