F30 M3 brakes
Well, I wonder if it's an AP setup or just a beefed up version of the new F30
What do you guys think? Just for fun here's the C63 performance pack brakes, they are huge. why can't the next M3 have these?

Likely an OEM series brembo given what BMW did on the M5 and 135i. Highly unlikely AP or another brand. Brembo has a larger OEM market. Even if it's a fixed caliper, don't assume it will be track worthy. The GT-R has massive 6 piston brakes, but no cooling and they are worse than the E9X brakes at the track - ask me how I know.

I believe the new M5 has fixed calipers. I think BMW will cave into the current rage and put fixed calipers on the new M3.
The E9X M3 has two glaring short-comings in its segment... 1. Fuel economy...being addressed. 2. Brakes...let's hope BMW uses the Brembo GT calipers with the current floating rotor design. I would ask for cooling ducts as well (like the E46) but I don't want to push it.

Boy oh boy. Nothing but clueless posters today. BMW has a fixed caliper to use on future models as a cave to all the piston counters out there. It's not an AP caliper. It will work at least as well as the current single piston design.

Twice now I've been in situations in a GTR where it's brakes failed. Last time I had to change my shorts.... would not stop from ~150 going into turn 1 CCW at TWS, leaving the driver and I to rely on Hal 9000 to save us through turn 2. Talk about pucker factor. This is with OEM pads though. It's a brutally fast 4100lb car that easily overpowers the OEM 15" 6-piston brakes in a 20min track session.
