RF hold off on the powder coating or do some research. I've read that PC'ng forged wheels can actually weaken them. There's a vid on e90post where a wheel actually breaks on the track after getting them PC'd.

No the wheels, considering powdercoating the intercooler black. I already made better pieces on the sides, pic in my VT2 build thread

They ride MUCH better than 19s too. I'd say its 100% smoother going over bumps, and a lot of it has to do with the re-11 tires. No joke. As smooth as 17s with snow tires

I love my RE11s as well. They are smoother than my old PS2s and only slightly more road noise, really nothing of note. Awesome grip too. Only problem is the price...but I heard R-S3s might be discontinued which was gonna be my next tire...

I really like the new wheels, looks very aggressive! If you are going to paint the intercooler, I think you should do the grills as well

Super light / Strong / Timeless good looks...

Great choice of wheels. The last set was nice but these wheels are purpose built and a much better match to the ///Monster you have built (IMHO)

thanks man. I REALLY wish they came in 18x12 though, so I could one day fit them under a widebody rear
