Brembo brake pad\'s life??
Ok ,Just got back from the BMW workshop as there was a squeaking noise coming from my brakes . Got It all checked out and it was a brake sensor that was causing it as it was rubbing on the brake disc/rotor . I had switched to brembos in march/April this year and the technician there told me that the pads are almost finished and would have a life of 3000kms or so left in em. Came home ,did the math and realized I\'ve just done 5000 kms or so since I got the brembos on. So the life of the brake pads is around 8000kms (approximate) . Can\'t figure that am I driving too hard or does the M eat break pads every 8000kms ???? Btw there\'s a lil vibration in the steering wheel when I\'m braking hard at high speeds ( 150kmph ) could it be cuz the brake pads are almost finished ???

what kind of pads? If they are the base pads that are delivered with the BBK and you don't ahve any track time on the setup, that is too fast. With just street driving I would be surprised if you dont get 40-50,000kms on a set of front pads.

yes the pads are the ones delivered with the BBK , and well (dont judge me on this ) street driving here is as good as a track so if on the track they last this much then its k.
