Few pics of my AW M Coupe
Hey guys I picked up my AW '07 M Coupe a few weeks ago. Just wanted to share a few pics (not very good pics, sorry no photo skills).
My 07 had 7,600 miles when I got it. It has the extended Light Sepang Bronze leather. I had never seen the LSB in person, but I am really happy with the color. I did not want wood when I was looking for an M Coupe, but I really like it with this interior color. The one thing driving me crazy is the Sirius antenna on the roof. At some point I want to take it off, but not sure what was used to put it on. A few things I have done since I got my car. 3M clear bra on the front and rocker panels and had it tinted. Replaced the CDV with the modified CDV from Zeckhausen Racing. Added RPI skid plates and M trunk carpet. Replaced the oil cap with the "M" oil cap and just picked up a billet dip stick. Really nice compared to the red dip stick and for $59 bucks, well worth it. Still need to do the stubby antenna sometime soon. |

Nice! Who did your 3M bra? I've had Steve at AutoShield Carolinas do two of my cars. His work is so good I drove up from Charleston to have him do the roadster.

Cool. Never thought about replacing my dipstick though.

Steve at Autoshield did mine as well and they did the tint too. Really good job and very professional.

Me either. When I had my CDV changed at Eurowise here in Charlotte, I saw they had some for VWs. I asked if they had them for the S54 engine, and luckily they had a few done. It is a small thing, but looks really nice and simple.

Thank you. I like the fact it is different. The interior is tougher to keep clean than I thought. It is not acutally white, but more of a an oyster color, not really beige and not really grey. My pictures kinda made it look more white than it truly is.

I am actually really careful getting in an out, but others, not so much. I actually covered the seats last time I took it in for some work. What do you use to wipe the seats down? I have used Spinneybeck on my '00 M Roadster for the last several years with good results. Just checked the top section, it was a little dirty. Thanks for the heads up.
