As some of you know, I've been trying to sell my car for sometime, and it seems I cannot even give the damned thing away. I'm ready to move on my next car, and I went to a local dealer today to get a cash buy quote. The quote actually wasn't too bad, but the quote is the same whether my car is stock, or with the $15k in modifications. In other words, I'd be donating all my stuff to a dealer.

SO, I'd like to see what kind of deals I could strike up with the nice folks here in this forum. There might not be much of a chance of getting anything done because of my stipulations below, but if you agree, please PM and we'll see if we can work something out.

*PLEASE READ EVERYTHING BELOW!!!! IF YOU ASK FOR ANY OTHER TERMS, YOU'LL BE IGNORED!! Sorry to be harsh, but it's simply amazing how many people will ask you for something when you specifically ask them NOT to ask for it. ;P

I live in Chesterfield, Missouri, which is a suburb of St. Louis. For ANY of the parts below, I'm GOING TO NEED YOUR STOCK COMPONENTS. In other words, my wheels and tires for your wheels and tires. My brakes, for your brakes. My exhaust for your exhaust, etc. I WILL NOT SHIP ANYTHING!!! NOTHING WILL BE SHIPPED!!! If you want any of this stuff, we'll have to meet up and either have the parts swapped at a local shop, or if you're handy and nearby we can do it at your place. I'm willing to drive around 100 miles to YOU if needbe, but everything would need to be switched around in a day.

Now, anything on my car which is modified can go:

-19" BBS Black Edition wheels, with BRAND NEW Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires in 245/35/19 and 275/35/19. Wheels are scratched up here and there, but come with BBS lugs, caps, rings, etc. For your stock wheels and tires in DECENT condition, I want an extra $1200. (I might need to sell the BBKs beforehand however, as I'm not sure the stock 18"s will clear).

- Stoptech Front and Rear BBKs with two piece, slotted rotors. I paid over $5000 for these, and they were installed 7 months ago or so. I need your stock brakes and rotors, plus $2800. THESE ARE PERFECT, AND I WILL NOT SPLIT THEM UP. No scratches on the calipers, no warping in the rotors, no vibrations under braking, they are MINT.

- Rogue Engineering Exhaust. I need your stock exhaust, plus $700.

- H&R coilover setup. I DON'T need your stock suspension as I still have mine, but you'll need to pay or do the work to remove these/install my stock suspension. $600.

- AC Schnitzer Carbon Fiber rear diffusor. This one would be tricky as hell, as the rear bumper was modified to fit it. So, this trade would ONLY work with another Imola roadster/coupe. It would be super simple to swap them out however, probably take less than an hour. $1000 plus your bumper. (SICK DEAL)

- Tekcarbon Carbon Fiber mirrors, matte black grills, and 2 month old ///M floor mats we can talk about later (once I find out what is going on with everything else). As well, I have the carbon leather dash ONLY, not the center console. If anyone wants to come and swap out your aluminum dash for my carbon leather, it's yours for $500. In fact, if anyone reads this and can send me your aluminum dash beforehand, I guess I WOULD ship the carbon leather dash out. The dash is a little over a year old, bought brand new from BMW for like $1100 and it's in perfect condition.

Finally, yes I know this is probably a shot in the dark for alot of this stuff since I won't be shipping anything (except for the dash of course). I'm hoping to find someone who is handy nearby, who wouldn't mind doing all the work and getting themselves some really pricey products for a good price. As well, if you're interested in a package deal, let me know and we can certainly work something out. Let me know if you're interested pretty quickly, as I think I'll be moving the car next week one way or the other.

Why didn't you keep your stock parts?? You are pretty much guaranteed to sell any mods you buy to us vultures, but usually involves shipping...

Honestly, I hate to beat a dead horse but I would keep this car as is and buy your other car that you have been looking at. Makes no sense to get rid of this car if you have the title in hand. I have been in the same boat and wouldn't get rid of my Z4M. I would sell my M3 or wifes NSX though.
These are not that much to maintain in reality and I see no reason to sell unless you live in San Francisco where you can use the BART or New York where having multiple cars is not needed but this is still a sweet ride.

Just keep it.

I know........I have a red rear cover and would dig that ACS diffuser ....but just no shipping etc. kills it.

I have never wanted my car to be Imola more than at this moment. I love that diffuser!

If you change your mind about shipping the tekarbon mirrors PM me (one of the easiest items on your list to ship). I'd take 'em in a second!
