20s on stock edc vs 20s on KW V3?

HI guys... So right now I'm currently in the market for a used set of 20s. But, I will be running 20s on stock edc suspension setup first without upgrading or dropping with coils. From what I hear it's going to be a bit harsher than on 19s. So, I would like to know if I upgrade the suspension setup with coils, would it actually improve the quality of the ride and feel less harsh. Would I be able to get a more comfort ride on v3s and the 20s when compare to 20s on stock edc?

Some kind input would be nice. Sorry for the lack of knowledge. Thanks
