Space Saver Spare
I have a 2010 X5 35d w/o the 3rd row option. I am wondering if there is an OEM spare option for me that will fit underneath the cargo area cover. I contacted my local dealer's parts dept and they told me that their info was telling them the BMW spare kit wouldn't work for my car.
I have the plastic cargo bin underneath the cargo floor. Would like to know what options I have to put a spare in it. Have searched lots of forums and cannot find a definitive answer for what works with a 2010 model. Thanks. |

No Joy
So I used the suggested link. BMW Silver Spring couldn't confirm that the space saver would fit my year of X5. But I ordered anyway. A few days later, I get the message indicating that they don't actually have the wheel/tire/kit in stock, nor can they locate one.
Does anyone know a donut size that will fit under the cargo cover for a 2010 X5 35d? "Use this link" isn't helpful unless you actually know the part listed fits the vehicle being described. Thanks. |

Use a Vin from a 2011 car. Mine has the spare tire option from the factory. In the sam pack you get the space saver, the jack and the tools. The space under the baggage floor is the same on 2011's so I do not see why It would not fit your car.
