Does the iphone4 cradle actually improve phone reception?
I have seen various posts where people recommend the iphone4 cradle to charge the phone, but does it actually improve the phone reception over and above the normal bluetooth link?
I know it's rumoured to, but need to know if it actually does. Car is an 08 e92 |

YEs it does.. It uses the antenna on the roof instead of the antenna on the phone so it does improve reception slightly. When I had an iphone with crappy At&t calls would drop less frequently in areas they always would drop if I just was using the phone

But doesn't the bluetooth connect to the roof antennae as well?

BT has nothing to do with 3G cellular service or car antennas.
