My New Space Grey M Coupe

Here she is. Space grey on Imola. Took a couple months for me to find one I was happy with at the right price, but I'm glad I held out. I absolutely love the car! Apparently everyone else does too because I saw plenty of people take second glances at it.

The pics don't do the car justice, but I only had my phone with me when I picked it up. I also included a picture of the car it is replacing- my beloved E36 325i. (Last pic is what it showed up in!)

Was this from a dealer in the Midwest? I think I saw the autotrader ad.

Congrats on the beautiful car!
Now, time to get down to business.
1. get a stubby antenna - http://www.ecstuning.com/ES251689/
2. paint those reflectors!
3. get the rpi skid plates - http://www.redline-motorworks.com/pr...p/rp-a1001.htm
After those few mods, and maybe painting your rims matte black (if you like), the car will be literally perfect.

Enjoy it, its a great car and a very special one too!

Thanks for the compliments guys!

This car was from Texas (and was on autotrader as well). I already have a stubby antenna on order and I am planning on painting the reflectors as well.

I was thinking about doing ZCP/CSL wheels, but when I first saw the car today I was surprised at how much I liked the stockers. We'll see how long I can resist

Overall very pleased with the car. One funny thing I noticed was how the leather owner's booklet doesn't fit inside the car anywhere except the trunk area.

Beautiful car! Looks great. Please don't do black wheels... they seem to be so played out on a grey cars to me. Also RPI skidplates have been debated on whether they help or make matters worse if you hit a curb. Might want to do some research before you buy there. I just personally watch myself on curbs, which is really the best way to keep the front from getting scraped up.

CSLs always look pretty good, but on normally on the "heavier side" in case you care about that kind of thing.

Best Luck

That's one of my favorite color combos, congrats! Looks stunning!

What shifter is that? If it weighs more than 8oz it might be a good idea to switch it out, see here.

Shifter is the UUC RK5 knob. I actually ordered a ZHP knob because I prefer the cleaner "stock" look. Not sure if the UUC is more than 8oz, but I'll feel much better with a BMW knob knowing that info now. Thank you for that heads up!

Wow that looks great ! Like the Imola.

Funny how the pics in the sun look a lot like SG in the shade. But the pics in the shade look closer to metallic black in the sun. The Wife has a 335i in Space Grey and the M is Silver Grey. Hers in the sun looks real close to the M in the garage in the shade, now that I think about it.

Just bit more contrast with the Space to the rims and I like that a lot too. I would leave them alone on that color.

Here is an example, but now that I see them back to back. Space is still darker.

Nice! Great color combo, pedals, grill done--yes, get the ZHP knob, not feeling the one that's there now.

Black wheels? Hmmm, not sure on the silver. Looks good on blue/red IMO, but as with most things this is subjective. Your car, your choice!

Enjoy!
