My European Delivery - SG E92 M3
I picked up my car on March 14 @ 9:10am. The BMW Welt is very impressive, and there are many things to keep you entertained while there (even if you aren't getting a new car :]). We were treated to a breakfast buffet, for lack of a better term. It was an all-around pleasant experience. However, I'm notoriously late. I was scolded by my rep for being 5 minutes late to my appointment for going to the bathroom . She was very nice, and very helpful. The g/f and I got up and running in no time, and we were on our way to Vienna directly after.
I just parked the car in Vienna for the 2 nights we were there. Then we went and stayed with my family in a little town a bit south of Vienna for another 2 nights (nothing much to see here about the car). Then we were off to Frankfurt for 3 nights, of which, one day was Nurburgring day! I had 2000km on the car already, so I figured I'd just let loose (I'm leasing :P). I'm definitely no race car driver. I did 4 laps on the ring. On my first lap, I went off the track at the big blind turn after the hill climb (no damage). There were many spectators up on the hillside, who of which enjoyed a hearty laugh at my expense. After that, I improved my laps and was doing great by the end. Too bad they yelled at me about having a camera mounted in the car. I guess that was a waste of money buying a 1080p DV cam and a suction mount. Afterwards I parked the car for a week as we flew to Italy. Let me just say, the Vatican is the most absurdly ornate thing I've ever witnessed. It's kind of sickening. Otherwise, the entire trip was a blast. I managed to get up to 165mph while on the highway. I managed to get 3 speeding tickets from cameras for doing like 10-20kph over the speed limit. Luckily I was told they're only like 50eur each. |

Looks like you had a great time, ED is one of the best experiences. BTW I bought the same T-Shirt while on my ED a few weeks ago.

First of all fantastic looking coupe! Very nice! Wonderful experience at the Welt indeed. Did pick up my car at 3:50PM same day and that place sure has many accomodations that "kinda" kept my nerves calm...
