Hi Guys,

Took delivery of my new "toy" on 27/01/2011 and been loving it ever since. It was standard to the bone but that didn't last long. A few mods done and more to come... The best mod done by far is the Gruppe M air filter which really brings the car to life and sounds soooo awesome.

Considering it and the BMW performance knob. The perf. knob is 20grams heavier. Might look weird though.

I like the feel of performance. But just looks so out of place in my black/piano black cabin. ZHP is more "appropiate" and still feels awesome.

I think there is nothing wrong with the stock knob. its even illuminated.

I've been looking for a good heavy shift knob. I think the ZHP one is not heavy enough (but looks right), and other ones are heavy enough but are silver. Maybe I'll buy a heavy one and have custom leather put on it to match the look of the original somewhat.

currently debating between the zhp and the performance one as well, just cant picture how the performance one will look in my carbon stitched interior tho
