Windshield Scratches

I have so many minor scratches on my windshield which you can see thru the sunshine. It is really bothering me when i drive during the day.
I asked some detailers about it, and they suggesting me to componding the windshield. I just want to make sure if componding is the best way to get rid of scratches before i damage my windshield.

Thank you

I'm seen detailers polish the swirls off the head lamps, I'm sure they could do the same for windshields.
