I use the BMW leather cleaning kit. It works good and it keeps the leather looking like when it came from the factory. It does not leave a shiny finish like other products. I like Zaino and also Zymol too.

Leatherique: rejuvinator and prestine clean and Zaino (Zaino is great for bringing back the leather smell). These are the best IMO. It looks like they have a sale going on.

I don't think you can go wrong with the BMW stuff. I use Lexol Leather Cleaner on a damp microfiber cloth. Once or twice a year I follow up with Lexol Leather Conditioner.

Do they sell Zaino in stores or is it only online?
I've been using Meguiars leather stuff but I do want to try Zaino.

I stopped using Lexol when I discovered Leatherique.

That is exactly right. To be honest with you I usually pick interior products based on the scent...... I hate anything with a strong scent since it takes the natural smell out of the interior of the car...... Especially leather cleaners and conditioners. Leather absorbs scents and holds on to them for quite some time due to it's porous/absorbent nature.

Some leather cleaners are stronger than others so make sure you test a small section under the seat to see if the color bleeds. After you use leather cleaner you may want to try using a leather conditioner depending on the condition your seats.

Zanio is not sold in stores. u can only get it online or via one of their local independent distributors (normally someone's house, and by appt only...which is where i go to get mine...forget the shipping costs and u get an excuse to drive the M)

Even though these products are highly rated, it doesn't mean they will work best with our cars.

I bought Wolfgang Leather conditioner and my seats look more dry/cracked then they did before I applied it. I cleaned the seats before application too.

I'm guessing it has to do with the fact that our seats are a coated leather. This stuff really works best on a seat that is actually porous.

I used lexol before Wolfgang and my seats looked great.
I might try Zaino, leatherique I just feel is way too involved.

I have very old Zaino leather conditioner, I guess 10 years. But it still works great. I bought it directly from them. It somehow got stuck at a bottom of my cleaning container and I recently rediscovered it. M3 leather likes it. But I seen o reason why it would not like Lexol.

I have Leatherique as well. I do not like the smell, touch and feel of the leather after application. I would prefer Zaino over it for sure.

You really can not go wrong with Z9 & Z10 combo.

I also keep two air dusters and a few microfiber gloves in the trunk. Air dust and wiping off excess dust once every two days or so from the seats and other interior parts.

Dust = enemy.
