x5 ride quality

hows the ride quality on the 20inch wheels. they look great, im just worried that over every little bump im going to feel the impact. does adaptve drive take care of that

I just replaced 18" wheels with RF tires to 20" with regular tires. I put 35psi all 4 tires. Ride quality improved 300% compared to RFT. Smooth and quite. Feels like totally different car.

I have the 19" wheels with the SPort Package and sport suspension delete (I know it does not make sense but that is how BMW does it). With this set up the ride quality is great but the 20" wheels significantly stiffen the ride although they look great. My friend has the 20" wheels and I am really glad I stuck with the 19s for ride quality and cost of replacement tires. Plus, we drive to Colorado often in the snow and the 20s come with sport/summer tires.
