Major bummer. Looks very fixable if expensive. I'm sure she'll be even better.

Cheers,
Alf

Far out condolences mate, where were you parked? I'm sure she'll be as good as new, don't worry about it! 5 weeks just in time to come out for the next cruise perhaps!

Doesn't look too bad as long as the rear wheel and chasis wasn't hit hard.

My condolences mate. That really is terrible, but definitely could have been a whole lot worse. All you'll have to remember this by is memories after they repair it, as long as you take it a good place.

Terrible! I know the anger and pain associated with some other asshole not doing what they're supposed to do on the road.

Take her to a nice repairer and they'll make sure she's as good as new.

Ouch, sorry to see.

That rear quater will be a bitch to fix as its one big panel. A friend had his r32 gtr insured and worth about 30k and was hit in pretty much the exact same way few years back and they wrote it off! But I'm thinking there was some chassic damage also though.

Well the structural bit needs to be checked since it involves the fuel door. There may be some pillar thingy there. Chassis should be ok just check the suspension arm etc...

sorry to hear that mate.

I terms of driving you won't feel it. I have done worse crashing my track car. fixed. and then did my second best time on a track.

Jeez I feel for you mate. But don't worry, looks like no chassis damage going by the pics. So she SHOULD drive the same after the repairs. I'm estimating around 15k worth of work...

I suspect 20k would be on the conservative side considering this was 14.5k.... (they wrote it off )

Sorry to hear, stories like this are always a bit pants.

FWIW I hit a roo in my MINI three weeks after collection...

...the repair was pretty good and you'd never be any the wiser. The car drove just as well as it did before and I kept it for about 5 years.

Good luck!
