Got my production number but I can't see the options or date of build help please!!

Hi everyone I just got my production number but I can't track it on bmwusa site how can I track it and know the production week and the options I installed ?
And on the site it says black sapphire and I ordered white and then changed it to carbon black is that possible that they made a mistake on the site or a build mistake please help!!!

Takes at least a week sometimes 2 for it to change online - 800 number is a little quicker sometimes. Dealer may know production week sooner as they seem to have a little more up to date info than the website has. My car took a full 2 weeks to be correct, some stuff changed after a week, then the rest changed a few days later to get all the options correct. My X5 has been a week and is still all wrong online.

Give it a little time!

Same situation with mine as well. Dealer's build sheet was correct, but it took days for it to be reflected on the BMW site.

Mine was supposed to be a week 36 production, although production started this week according to the status on the 800 number, as well as what the dealer tells me (status code 150). Production is scheduled for completion on the 9th though which is still week 36 so perhaps they're referring to production complete? I don't know.

Since it's got to come all the way up to Seattle, I expect it'll take a few more weeks after production before I take delivery.

As for tracking the build, go to "My Account" and create one if you haven't already, then create a new vehicle and enter the production number when you get to that part. After that you'll be able to track your build, although the granularity of information is unfortunately limited.

thanks. I found the car on bmwusa site all the options there but the exterior and interior colors are not correct on the site!! any ideas? and I cant find the production week where can I find it?
and do you get the 6 cd changer with the premium sound package on the xdrive50i?

As others have mentioned, the site lags behind reality with what it shows. As long as your dealer confirms that it's correct, be patient and it will update over the coming days.

You can only get the production week from your dealer.

Check the options on the premium sound package, but I think the answer is yes re: six disc changer.

If you have a production number, call the 800 number 800-831-1117
Go through all the prompts. At the end, when the automated info is complete, STAY ON THE LINE.
You'll have the option to speak to a live rep. Just tell them you have a production number you want to check on. Even though it may not be in production, they may be able to give you a build week. Call back that week and keep checking in. They don't seem to mind you calling. I did twice a day to check updates during production week. Never had an issue.

the only way you can get carbon black is if you get the m sport package.... did you?

if not it will default to saphire

carbon black is the hottest color btw
