I'm no expert, i went to bmwusa.com and under lease offers it says 679/month for a new x5 50i. That doesn't include tax and it's probably 6 or 7k down...... Also it doesn't include all those options. Seems steep to me... maybe closer to 800?

A fully loaded 5.0 goes for over 1k a month from nearly every dealer/leasing company.

Actually doesn't sound bad, the online lease offer is for no options, you have 10k in options and is almost 6 grand down and not including tax or fees.

Lease basic

Everyone who respond so far don't seem to know much about leasing except the payment (sorry for being blunt).. We don't know the length of the lease, so how can anyone value this lease? When someone ask if a lease deal is good or not, bacially he is asking for 3 thing, Is the sell price of the car good? Does the dealer mark up the money factor and generate additional profit? Does the dealer add on additional fee and pocket the money? With the information provide so far, how do anyone know whether this is a good deal or not????

I think it is a good rate b/c NOTHING DOWN - so that $7k has to be recouped over time in each payment; thus, instead of $659/month (or whatever it is with a ton down at signing) you are paying nothing at signing but a little back each month extra.

Plus, if you priced it through traditional financing with Nothing Down, I bet your 60 month payment plan would easily be $1,200/month.
