It is. It's brand new, and the design is much more open and flowing than any of the other tracks I've been on.

when i was at buttonwillow i drove the opposite direction. the turn that was most confusing for me was the last turn before the straight (your first left turn after the straight) because it was a really wide turn with no rumble strips on the right side so it made it hard for me to get some spatial awareness.

were you driving as part of an even at chukawalla? nasa? bmw cca?

I've never run buttonwillow in that direction, but I can see what you mean by that turn.

At buttonwillow, I was running with a group called industry track day. I think they're an organization that sets up track days for people in the car industry. I've got a cousin who works for a car magazine, so he got me on the track that day. However, there was actually a lot of traffic at that event, and those were the only 2 good laps I got all day. (If you notice in the vid there's a huge train on the other side of the track, which I was able to avoid for this session).

At chuckwalla, I was actually on the track by myself.
