My 2011 Melbourne Red E90 M3

Hello all.

I've been prowling these forums since 2008 and I've wanted to buy a M3 for a very long time.

Well today I just took delivery of my 2011 e90 MR M3.

It's a pretty standard build option but I opted for the Silver Novillo Leather with the Melbourne Red. It's not the most popular combination but I love and that's all that matter.

One thing that surprised me is that the 18"s came with the silver finish rather than the gunmetal. I ordered it back in mid-April so I thought it would come with the gunmetal. Oh well. These are going to be my winter wheels so I'm not too concerned.

Had to go with a license plate (the law unfortunately) so went with the Euro plates.

Took some iPhone pictures.

Thank you for viewing! Looking forward to modding this baby!

Congratulations! You must be really happy! I'm still waiting for mine. Man it took you 10 weeks to get your car? that must have been really painful, but it's well worth it.

Congrats! Melbourne is an amazing color. If the silver 18's are going to be your winter wheels, what wheels are you planning on getting for the summer?

Honestly, I've been going back and forth with wheel options. The good thing about thing about BMWs is that there a lot of wheel styles/brands available. Too many that it becomes a problem.

The ugly green license plates went away years ago (luckily).

I am in Seoul. I'm lucky to work on the military installation here that gives me access to the Military Sales program. It is true that there are no e90/e93 M3s available for the average Korean citizen. There are quite a few e92 M3s (passed two near my house) but I probably own the only MR e90 M3 around here.

M3s in Korea are around 100k plus. Still pretty popular.

Thanks again all! Went out for a drive and good god this thing is scary!

Will post interior pics when possible...have a busy 3 days coming up.

Crappy interior shots with iPhone

About to leave the house and wash the car. My polish hasn't come in yet so I can't break out the claybar. :/

I saw you ordrered the Navi - does this work in Korea? I was under the impression all navigations for BMWs in Korea were non-OEM systems?
