She's here!!!!!! My 2011 ZCP E92 Space Grey [PICS!!!]

After a semi-painful wait, tracking ships in open waters, and browsing the forums until 3am, my 2011 SG ZCP Coupe finally arrived and I just picked her up a few hours ago.

Surprisingly, it took 2 days from the moment she arrived at the VPC to get to the dealership. Quick service indeed.

The car is amazing, everything you could want and then some.

I love the leather in the car, destroys the 550 leather and it's everywhere (did the extended). The CF roof looks killer, I don't think I'll miss my sunroofs one bit. The new iDrive is amazing (coming from MB Command and the previous gen iDrive, this one is spectacular), the DCT is otherworldly (need to figure out how to turn up the illumination of the gauges...)

Didn't know that you can put her in Park by turning the ignition off in gear, gonna read the manual cover to cover tonight to learn the other 3000 features.

I think there was a post on this before, but I'll ask anyway: when going from Park (startup) to gear, does it default to "D" automatically? Or can it default to "S"???

Manual will answer lots of questions, but I thought I'd ask one anyway

Looks great...congrats!

Regarding the "illumination of the gauges" comment you made: if you're talking about the shift lights, just make sure they're set to ON but don't plan on seeing them until after the break-in period! They don't start to illuminate until you get past the max break-in RPM of 5500.
