Pics from the track
so i went lapping at ICAR (local race track near Mirabel airport) last week and a friend of mine took a few pictures... thought i'd share some of them. the other e90 m3 is also a fellow board member.

here are some pics of the latest mods i just added to the car just before the track day....
Goodrich SS lines and Hawk HP Plus pads... short review: the ss lines and the hawk pads definitely give a much stronger bite than the oem pads. the pedal feel is amazing, so is the stopping power. i was braking TOO much for some of the corners and ended up going through the turns way slower than i usually do. it felt a little strange at first to have so much braking power but it definitely allowed me to cut a few seconds off my lap times. the down side of the pads is that theyre NOISY as F*&$ whenever i am just cruising around town... i almost feel ashamed everytime i come to a stop light in the city because my brakes would squeal like a pig and everyone would turn to look at me. the only time they dont squeal is when they're hot (after tracking or some hard back road driving).

BTW you should say: "so i went lapping at ICAR (local race track near Montreal)" since ICAR is not near Mirabel airport, it is at the airport. It looked like a glorious evening. Your car looks awesome. Glad you are now into performance mods.  |
