SOLD!! 17x8 Mille Miglia 1000 Wheels with Goodyear GS-D3 235/40/17

SOLD!

Price: $450
Location: Cambridge, MA (looking for local sale at this point)

For sale is a set of used Mille Miglia 1000 wheels for a BMW. These wheels were designed specifically for BMWs and were made in Italy.

The wheels are 17x8 with a 40mm offset and a 5x120 bolt pattern (5 holes, 120mm spacing). This wheel should work on most 3-series BMW models (e.g. 323i, 325i, 330i, 328i, but probably will not work on an M3 due to larger brakes). I used these on a BMW 128i and they worked fine, but will most likely not work on a 135i because of larger brakes.

The wheels are straight with no bends or cracks, and are generally in good condition for older wheels. Two wheels have minor curb rash, and all wheels have minor blemishes (rock chips, etc.). The wheels have been great for me, and they were used as winter wheels prior to putting the current tires on.

The tires are Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 tires in size 235-40-17, which are highly rated on Tirerack. (235 is the tread wisth in millimeters, 40% is the ratio of the sidewall height to the tread width, and 17" is the wheel size) They have good hydroplane resistance due to the directional tread and have excellent dry grip. As with all summer tires, they are not meant to be used in the winter and would be pretty worthless in snow or icy conditions. The tires have slightly uneven treadwear, with the inside of the tires having a tread depth of about 7/32" and the outside having about 6/32". The outside tread block is also worn significantly more than the inside, as can be seen in the pictures. The tires have never been punctures nor been repaired, and they hold air well (from October to April in storage they dropped from about 34 psi to 25 psi).

Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks for your interest!

Would you be willing to separate the wheels only?

Havent there been plenty of 135 owners that have run 17" wheels even with the bigger brakes? I thought the manual also states 17" minimum

SOLD!

Sorry, these just sold today to another 1-addicts member locally (a 128i). At least they stayed in the family so to speak...

Honestly, these wheels designed for older cars, so I am not sure the barrel design would have cleared. But I never tested it...
