question about runflats pairing them with non runflats.
My left rear runflat was punctured today. Can I replace it with a non rf and combine it with my rf?

Only if you are stuck 5000 miles from home and need to limp to the next town to get it fixed properly.
If you absolutly must go with a non-rft, at least swap out both rears. Ideally, you'll replace it with another tired of the same kind, or replace all 4 to non-runflats. |

Never mix run flats with non run flats unless it the type of low speed, emergency, limping to the next service station situation described above.
Anything beyond that is a very bad situation waiting to happen. The handling in those types of tires is night and day different.

For the reasons Gill mentioned its not recommended. Tire side walls/performance will be way different front to back. Rear tires might have more grip or less grip in a corner than the fronts and you could end up into the wall, etc.
Even mixing tires of different brands isn't recommended (runflat or otherwise) for those same reasons. |
